Hiwassee Dries Flow Survey

This survey is designed to collect data on whitewater recreation on the Hiwassee River Dries from Turtletown Creek to Apalachia Power Plant. This section is upstream of, and distinct from, the popular and easier run below the powerhouse. 

We will be using information from this survey to help us identify a flow preference curve for whitewater boating, that will identify minimum, acceptable, and optimum flows. We will use the results of this study to prepare a report for stakeholders in the river section.
