Health Information Video Library - Falls Video Scripts |
The Health Information Video Library contains over 500 bite-sized videos about common conditions, procedures and general tips for living well. Across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, you will find links and QR codes to the video library popping up everywhere! This may be on appointment letters, posters and websites.
We want to make sure the videos give people the right information, in a way that is easy to understand. We're always adding new content to the video library and are keen to hear your views on how best we can do this.
Falls Scripts - Right now, we're working on two videos designed to help people lower their risk of a fall and are keen to get your views on the scripts that we are developing for these.
Who should respond? - We’re keen to hear from people living in Herefordshire or Worcestershire, aged 65 years and over and their carers or families. We are also particularly interested to hear from people who have experienced a fall (any age).
Items for review - Before you complete the survey, please view the scripts (linked below) and then tell us your views.

- Video Script 1 gives advice around the changes people can make to their home to make it safer (for example, removing rugs that are a trip hazard).
- Video Script 2 is about strength and balance exercises. Generally, falls are most common in those aged 65 years and over. Older women are also at a higher risk of broken bones, as a result of a fall.
Deadline – please share your views by 9am, Thursday 2 January 2025. This form should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
