The Braslau Family Grant Fund provides support for students and early-career physicists to attend key meetings to advance their career and professional aspirations. The fund is intended to help students who lack financial resources to attend such meetings, and awards will be made based on availability of resources with special consideration given to students from less affluent institutions.
The fund was established in 2016 by David Braslau, in honor of his brothers Norman Braslau and Robert Braslau, both accomplished physicists with long and distinguished careers in physics and systems engineering.
