The Municipality is working to ensure community members are engaged at each stage of the project to develop awareness and ensure that the long-term strategy considers the wants and needs of all community members.
Three rounds of engagement are planned to align with the three stages of the study.

- Round 1: Gather feedback on new ways to reduce and manage waste (2022-2024)
- Round 2: Review options & determine a waste management system (current stage)
- Round 3: Identification of the preferred waste management system (2024/2025)
We are currently conducting Round 2 engagement for the project and this survey is associated with this engagement. Round 2 objectives include:
- Present waste management systems and evaluation criteria
- Present potential waste management sites and evaluation criteria
- Collect feedback on preferred waste management system type
