October 27 Activity Assignment

Spend time over the next two weeks with at least one of the following options:

1. Pray a prayer for a saint's canonization cause that is currently underway.  You can use one of three given examples, or find another canonization cause.  If you find one not in the given list, please be sure to include a link to a website.  In 1-2 sentences, reflect on what stood out to you in the prayer, and/or what you learned about this proposed saint from looking at the canonization cause's website.

3. Read all four passages for All Souls' Day and write a 1-2 sentence reflection.

Click on the date for the readings you want to reflect on.  Be sure to advance the calendar to November for either of those Feast Days.

4. Reflect on someone you know who has passed away, whether recently or before you were born, in your family, or even a family friend.  Assemble a memorial with the person's photo and a couple of items that symbolize that person.  Write a 1-2 sentence reflection on what symbols you used to memorialize this person.
