About the Project:

PONY and Cone Architecture are partnering on the partial street vacation at 1221 E Madison St, Seattle, WA. The proposed partial street vacation will extend approximately 7.5 feet south of the lot along E Union St, utilizing the majority of this area for an expansion and restoration of the PONY patio area which was demolished to make space for construction of the Madison Street Bus Rapid Transit project. At the corner of E Union St and E Madison St, a monument to the LGBTQ+ significance of the neighborhood is proposed.
