Hertford Castle Greenspace Renewal: Public Survey |
How do you use Hertford Castle's grounds?
The National Lottery Heritage Fund have awarded nearly £350,000 to develop plans for a revamp of Hertford Castle's Greenspaces. The project will be developed and delivered in collaboration with Hertford Town Council, East Herts District Council, and Hertfordshire County Council's Countryside Management Service.
Our plans will aim to promote the site's rich history, improve access, and increase biodiversity through a range of interventions; including sitewide improvements to paths, bridges, and signage, as well as conservation works to the Anglo-Saxon motte on site.
In order to make the project the best it can be for local people and community groups, we want to hear from you! This survey will ask you about how you use the greenspaces at Hertford Castle, as well as your opinion on elements like the children's play area and signage. Your answers will be used to shape the project and what plans we choose to develop further.
This survey will take 5-10 minutes. All answers are anonymous. For more information visit the Hertford Castle website.
