Program Summary:
Forty-five (45) citizens representing all five (5) commission districts are invited to participate in a first of its kind Coweta County Citizen Summit spanning two (2) days to gain a better understanding of Coweta County operations.
Citizens will enjoy a dinner and a discussion on Friday evening, where they can meet the Commissioners and County staff, followed by the first session presentation.
On Saturday, citizens will be divided up into three (3) groups of fifteen (15). Each group will start at 8:30 am at an assigned County facility and attend on-site sessions to learn more about government operations. The groups will rotate to three (3) different locations via bus and hear from County staff members across a variety of divisions to include public safety, public works, community development, and general county operations.
