* 1. 1 year old dog which i was dogsitting, hardly ever left on his own, in which has developed seperation anxiety.

I had a frantic call from mother because she had a fall, it was her second fall within a week, would you rush home to make sure your own mother is OK, or would you grab the harness and the lead before rushing to check if your mother is OK?

the dog would have only been left alone for 3 hours maximum
