This workshop will focus on the shifts that have taken place within the Next Generation Science Standards. Teachers will engage in hands on activities that are aligned to NGSS that can be taken back to the classroom. Participants will learn about the Science and Engineering Practices, Crosscutting Concepts, and Disciplinary Core Ideas that make up the NGSS and how to implement them into the classroom. This workshop is geared towards K-5 educators.
