We would like your thoughts on our draft Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Policy

Our Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Policy shapes the way we deal with reports of anti-social behaviour. We want to update and refresh this policy and are seeking your views on it.

We have to work within the law and also within what the Regulator of Social Housing says we must do. We also recognise we are not the only agency in Wolverhampton that is involved with tackling anti-social behaviour and that we need to continue to work closely with our partners including the City of Wolverhampton Council and West Midlands Police.

One of the changes we are proposing in the draft ASB Policy 2025-2028 focuses on taking a harm centred approach to reports of anti-social behaviour. This means that when managing cases of ASB we will consider the level of harm caused to the victims throughout our case management. We feel this is particularly important when deciding how serious a case is and what the best course of action should be.

The new draft policy is also much more detailed so people can make more informed decisions about what course of action they wish to take and will be clear in what they can expect from the service if they do report anti-social behaviour.
