Learning Objective:
After attending this workshop, the participants will be able to:
- Discuss the indications for the types of regional anesthesia for total joint arthroplasties for upper limbs.
- Describe the anatomy and sonoanatomy of these regional techniques (Supraclavicular, infraclavicular and axillary approaches to brachial plexus block, Interscalene and superior trunk blocks, Suprascapular nerve block).
- Compare and contrast different types of regional anesthesia techniques for total joint arthroplasties in upper limbs.
