Task Force Rationale: Health education is critical to the well-being of our preK-12 students. In order to ensure that students are receiving adequate health education, school administrators and decision-makers need to understand the minimum amount of time required to deliver effective health education. The goal of this task force would be to provide a recommendation of the minimum time required for health education in preK-12 schools and/or develop or conduct research to answer the question of how much time is recommended for health education in the preK-12 curriculum.
