Thank you for participating.
Your responses will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the potential relationship between exposure to paternal anger/aggression and Latine individual’s current perception and expression of anger and aggression. Please answer the following questions honestly and to the best of your ability.
If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete an online survey of approximately 10-20 minutes. The survey consists of three sections:
Demographics, Quantitative Questions (using a Likert scale), and Qualitative Questions
The study poses minimal risks. You may experience discomfort when reflecting on personal experiences with anger and childhood trauma. If you feel distressed, you may stop the survey at any time. You will also be provided with contact information for mental health support services at the end of the survey.
There are no direct benefits to you for participating in this study. However, your participation will contribute to a better understanding of how exposure to paternal anger/aggression correlates with current perception and expression of anger/aggression in the Latine community, which may inform future interventions and support mechanisms.
Your responses will be anonymous. No identifying information will be collected. Data will be stored securely on a password-protected computer and only accessible to the research team. Results will be reported in aggregate form, ensuring that individual responses cannot be identified.
Participation in this study is voluntary. You may refuse to participate or withdraw at any time without penalty. Any data you have provided will be destroyed if you choose to cancel.
If you have any questions about the study, please contact Elizabeth Chacon at echacon@antioch.edu.
