Hello! Thank you for participating. Please read for background and guidance to answer the questionnaire.
  • This is a 5-min internal Bionano Survey with goal to gather requirements for Bionano sample prep product development
  • We are looking at feedback regarding customer needs around OGM sample prep of Oncology tissue samples. We will use your input to define development projects needed to keep improving our sample prep solution for tissue prep.
  • Please answer the questions to your best knowledge. If you don't know the answer to one or more questions, you can skip them, and just answer the ones you feel confortable with, given your knowlege.

Question Title

* 1. Please provide your Name and Country where you are based

Question Title

* 2. What is your title at Bionano?

Question Title

* 3. HEMATOLOGICAL MALIGNANCIES - LYMPH NODE BIOPSIES:

We understand that for Lymphomas, a common sample type is a lymph node biopsy.
  1. From your best knowledge, are these samples available primarily as FFPE or Fresh-Frozen?
  2. Do you have insights on typical amount of lymph node biopsy sample available, in terms of tissue mass of number of cells?

Question Title

* 4. SOLID TUMORS - FRESH FROZEN TISSUE SAMPLES:
  1. Aside from CNS/Brain Tumors and Sarcomas, are you seeing customers being able to secure fresh-frozen tissues of other solid tumors? If so, could you please let us know which tumors and some account examples?
  2. What are the typical amounts of tissue available for these samples, in terms of tissue mass or number of cells?
  3. Do you have any customers asking for us to be compatible with lower amounts of fresh-frozen sample than our current protocol (which requires 10mg of sample)?

Question Title

* 5. SOLID TUMORS - FNA AND CNB SAMPLES:
  1. Do you have insights on what are the most common sample types for which customers receive primarily FNA and CNB (eg. lung cancer, melanoma, others)?
  2. For these samples, how many cells are typically available? To our best knowledge, it is around 1,000 to 5,000 cells (equal to around 30ng-50ng of DNA yield). Would you confirm this assumption?

Question Title

* 6. SOLID TUMORS - ALL TYPES:
  1. In general, would you confirm that for your customers, most solid tumor samples are available in FFPE? Can we assume 85%-90% of samples available with FFPE?
  2. To your best knowledge, what is the ideal sample mass (in mg) or number of cells we should be compatible with, in order to address most of the solid tumor biopsy samples?

Question Title

* 7. Do you have any customers you would like to recommend us to talk to, in order to obtain more information? Would you also be able to facilitate scheduling a meeting?
