Advanced Critical Care Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) Workshop
Learning Objective:
After attending this workshop, the participants will be able to:
Perform and interpret VExUS scan and know limitations of VExUS in volume status estimation.
Perform modified TTE views including suprasternal and right parasternal views to diagnose and quantify intracardiac congenital and iatrogenic shunts, assess physiological status of corrected and palliated adult congenital heart diseases, Load independent assessment of contractility.
Perform TTE views to check and quantify functionality of Cardiac assist devices, LAVD, Impala, ECMO including RAM testing and interpretation.
Perform TTE views for FALS and Blue protocol, LVOT VTI protocol for hemodynamic assessment and shock differentiation, quantification for 60/60 rule to diagnose acute pulmonary embolism.
Diagnose and interpret TTE images of various clinical situations encountered in critical care.
