Local Labour Shortages

Dear Employer Stakeholder:

Are you losing business because you cannot find workers? Are you having trouble finding qualified people to fill your jobs? If the answer is yes to these questions then please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey to determine the needs in this area and to help identify solutions that can help you.

The Eastern Workforce Innovation Board (EWIB), in collaboration with local community partners, is conducting this survey in the counties of Leeds Grenville and Frontenac.

This survey has 7 questions and should only take about 10 minutes of your time.

The Board will also be conducting on-line and telephone surveys with employers in the area from September 1 - October 31, 2023. SURVEY DEADLINE: October 31, 2023.

The Eastern Workforce Innovation Board (located in Gananoque) is one of 26 boards across Ontario, that comprise "Workforce Ontario - Leaders in Workforce Planning." These local workforce planning and development boards are non-profit, community based organizations comprised of volunteers from business, labour, education and community groups.

Our mission is to provide leadership in labour market planning across Ontario through a collaborative forum as well as co-ordinating one-on-one interviews with community stakeholders including: employment service providers, economic development organizations, employers and other community partners.

Only aggregated information will be publicized as not to identify individual employers.
