What is Leadership St. Bernard?
Leadership St. Bernard is a program designed by the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce to educate and engage citizens in identifying needs, resources, and opportunities for St. Bernard Parish. Based on a national model used by Chambers to develop individuals into community leaders, LSB has established itself as a pathway for civic leaders within the parish and the metro region.

Who selects the participants?
Applications will be reviewed by the Leadership St. Bernard Selection Committee, which is comprised of Leadership St. Bernard Alumni and St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce staff. The 2025 Class will be limited to 30 participants.

Participation Requirements
  • All applications and application fees must be received by the application deadline to be considered.
  • Participants must commit to the entire program with the understanding that there are no refunds.
  • Individuals unable to complete the attendance requirements will not graduate from the program.
  • Participants are required to attend a full-day orientation.
  • Participants are allowed to miss 1 class out of a total of 8 classes.
  • Participants will attend the class graduation and reception.
Applications are open to everyone, but special consideration will be granted to those who reside or work in St. Bernard Parish.

Program Cost
$25 Application Fee- you will be invoiced via PayPal.
$300 St. Bernard Chamber Members
$400 Non-Members
*Application Fee will be applied to the full tuition amount for those accepted into the 2025 Leadership St. Bernard Class.

Tuition must be paid in full prior to the class orientation on January 16, 2025.
