1st Avenue Needs Assessment Survey |
About the Project
As part of the Needs Assessment process, the City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility is seeking community input on the preferred alternative for the future of 1st Avenue.
The 1st Avenue improvement project was originally conceived of as a 6-lane widening in the 2006 RTA plan. However, in the 15-years since adoption of that plan, the transportation context and needs within Tucson have changed. Notably, all projects are now being designed in the framework of the City of Tucson's 2019 Complete Streets policy.
