Gippsland LGBTIQ+ Inclusion in Sport and Recreation

Community Consultation

In partnership with Gippsport, Proud2Play are pleased to be undertaking a community consultation process to understand the needs, experiences, and climate for LGBTIQ+ folks in sport and recreation in the Gippsland area. This work aims to understand the current situation so we can support the development of an LGBTIQ+ strategy for GIppsport and the Gippsland area that builds the capacity of the industry in the Gippsland area and thus create more spaces in which LGBTIQ+ folks can participate in sport and recreation free from fear and discrimination.

This survey will complement the in-person consultations we will host over the next couple of months.

All data collected during this consultation process will be de-identified, and no personal data will be made publicly available. Proud2Play may contact you to request the use of your comments as quotes for public purposes with the use of your name. Proud2Play and Gippsport will not use your identifying details without permission.
