Welcome to the Sacramento CoC Membership Application!

The Sacramento Continuum of Care is committed to having a diverse representation from our community, including: organizations serving individuals experiencing homelessness; people with lived expertise of homelessness; organizations that are led by and serve Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC); and other organizations and institutions that provide preventative or supporting services to individuals and families facing homelessness in Sacramento County.

You are invited to review and apply to join the Sacramento CoC Board and/or its Committee(s) that are available within this application.

Before applying to the CoC Board/Committee(s), be sure to review the 2023 Sacramento CoC Governance Charter to learn about CoC membership terms, responsibilities, and more.

Please know that:

• You will need to complete the demographic questions and at least one application (the CoC Board application and/or a CoC Committee application).

• You may complete more than one CoC Committee application.

• You may skip applications that do not interest you at this time and complete specific applications as desired.

• Your application(s) ​will remain on file for 2 years from submission date.

• Your application(s) do not guarantee a seat on the CoC Board and/or Committee(s). Note: the Governance Committee and Executive Committee do not have public applications because membership is limited to CoC Board members.

• The CoC Board/Committee(s) you are interested in may/may not be recruiting for members at the time when you submit.

• During recruitment periods for the CoC Board/Committee(s), you will receive a Constant Contact email alerting you to whether you have or have not been selected to join the CoC Board/Committee(s). Be sure to check your junk/spam email folders.

• If selected to join the CoC Board/Committee(s), members with lived expertise are eligible to access stipends, per the CoC Stipend Policy. Additional details about the CoC Stipend Policy will be provided upon membership approval.

• This CoC membership application and recruitment periods will be listed on the CoC Board webpage for future reference.
