Scholarship Application to attend the Fall 2024 NOVA Victim Assistance Academy

The National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) is committed to the ongoing training and professionalization of all crime victim advocates and allied professionals.

We are offering this need-based scholarship to attend the 40-hour NOVA Victim Assistance Academy (NVAA) which will take place virtually through Zoom.

The Fall NVAA is offered as a Hybrid Model with a combination of live and asynchronous (pre-recorded) virtual training, that allows more flexibility.

20 hours of live virtual training
20 hours of asynchronous training

The live classes are scheduled on Wednesdays in October (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th), from 12:30 – 5:00pm ET (including a 30 minute break).

To earn a certificate of completion, students must attend ALL live class days, watch all asynchronous trainings, and complete the corresponding class survey for all live AND asynchronous courses.
