Application Instructions
The application is for girls ages 13-26 to complete in order to participate in the 2025 Girls STEAM Institute Virtual Reality Team Business Challenge on October 4-5, 2025 in ENGAGEXR. Free VR Training will be offered to all who have never experienced virtual reality. You will receive an acknowledgement of our receipt of your survey.
Please fill out all required fields. The parent release form at the end of the application must be signed by a parent or guardian.
The application is a competitive process, Each grade level will be evaluated separately to account for the range of experience between older and younger participants.
Girls will be selected and divided into multiple teams of 3-5 girls per team who will work on a business idea and a mobile application and pitch to a panel of judges.
Please submit the application by September 15, 2025.Those chosen will be notified by email. and provided more instructions and preparation materials. Once notified of your acceptance, you will have opportunities to engage in our programs and inspiring presentations geared to help you learn more about entrepreneurship and team building before you compete as part of a team on October 4-5, 2025. We will be offering more events andprograms in VR during the next few months, and you will have fun in the virtual world experience.
