Background Information

Council is installing playable public artworks in the form of ping pong tables intended for public space activation. The project has been funded by the Federal Government under the Murray Darling Basin Economic Development Program.

Council will engage local artists to transform the tables from their original solid colours into unique points of interest in Loxton and Waikerie.

The ping pong tables are intended to bring a new kind of vibrancy to public spaces by providing an unexpected opportunity for people of all ages (not just kids) to have some fun.
