Do you want us to help you? Statistically 1 in 12 young people will be a young carer at some point and we are Manchester Young Carers’ Forum, a group for young carers, run by young carers. The purpose of this questionnaire is to provide young carers with a voice, and get that voice heard! We want to find out what support and help that young carers currently receive in schools and what other support they need, as school plays a massive part in all of our lives, but can be very hard when you’re looking after someone. We have sent this questionnaire to multiple schools and community centres, but we still need YOUR HELP! It’s in the name, forum, meaning for us!
