Nextflow is a scientific workflow system that enables scalable and reproducible computational workflows using software containers. It allows the adaptation of pipelines written in the most common scripting languages and has emerged as a standard for defining bioinformatics workflows.

Australian BioCommons has responded to increased use of Nextflow in the life sciences by supporting the development of Nextflow bioinformatics pipelines, convening the Bioinformatics Workflows community, offering Nextflow training, and standing up an Australian Nextflow Seqera Service.

This survey aims to assess interest in the formation of an informal network to facilitate Nextflow activities that would benefit the Australian life sciences.

This survey should take less than 5 minutes to complete.

By participating in this survey you agree that your responses will be provided to the Australian BioCommons (whose lead agent is the University of Melbourne) and will be used solely for gauging interest within the Australian bioscience research community and informing the design of future activities by Australian BioCommons and their partners. Your responses are anonymous and will be protected against unauthorised access and use. Full Privacy Statement: www.biocommons.org.au/privacy
