Universal Changing Stations

Tangram and the Indianapolis Public Library have partnered together to install universal changing stations in three Indianapolis Libraries. A universal changing station is a changing table that is sufficient to support an older child or adult weighing over 50 pounds. We want to gather some information and feedback from those that support individuals that may benefit from using one of these tables. Please answer the following questions:
.Do you serve individuals that would benefit from a universal changing station?
.Where are older children or adults that do not fit the Koala changing station specifications most often changed when in the community?
.What, from the experiences shared with you, are the social consequences of not having appropriate, adult-sized changing stations?
.What, from the experiences shared with you, are health consequences from lack of access to universal changing stations?
.What would it mean to individuals you serve if they knew that there was a free, convenient, and easily accessable place that had a universal changing station?
.Would individuals you serve be more likely to access the libraries that have a universal changing station, even if it were just to be changed?
.We are looking to hold a small number of interviews with individuals that would be directly impacted, do you have anyone in mind that might be willing to complete a 10-15 minute phone interview? If so, please leave your name and contact info and we will be in touch to schedule.
.Tell us your role in serving the disability population
