Gridley Live Spot Academic Success Program Registration- October 26-October 30
Program Description - GRIDLEY LIVE SPOT
Butte County Behavioral Health Prevention Services -Academic Success Center (Fall 2020) This program provides supervised space for a safe, virtual learning environment. Students will be provided with wifi and socially distanced workspace, as well as support from behavioral health staff. Staff support will be limited to assisting students on tasks and ensuring the technology is working properly to support their class participation. Staff will not be tutoring or teaching any subjects. Students will need to bring their own chromebook/laptop, earphones, and any textbooks or other supplies/materials they may need. Students will not be allowed to share personal items. We ask that they only bring the essentials to limit the number of personal items needing to be sanitized each day.
Students will also need to bring their own mask and complete a short health questionnaire and temperature check each morning. The workstations and the meeting room will be thoroughly sanitized before the students arrive. Students will only use their assigned workstation each day.
This opportunity is completely free and available to junior high and high school students. This program requires weekly pre-registration as space is limited. You may register yourself/your student for any/all weeks listed as available.
