Symposium Week is a virtual educational and networking event for property owners, property managers and real estate investors with rental property throughout Chicago’s 77 community areas.

  • How to Run a Small Business (incl. financial management, the benefits of incorporation, hiring contractors, setting goals and business strategies) 
  • Selling/Buying Property (incl. buying your first rental property, unit turnover and the most important steps in the process with or without existing tenants)
  • How to Make Your Home Eco-Friendly (incl. green technology and best practices for sustainable living) 
  • Virtual Home Repair (incl. general maintenance, virtual diagnosis and walking-thru DIY repairs)
  • Credit Repair (incl. rebuilding strategies and how credit scores play a role in buying property)
  • Ins and Outs of Hiring a Property Management Firm (incl. overview of certification process)
  • Estate Planning for Investment Properties
  • Landlord-Tenant Conflict Resolution
  • Security Deposits (incl. regulations and important deadlines)
