c) The proposed improvements would enhance building efficiency and reduce costly and disruptive emergency repairs, saving taxpayer dollars.
d) There are three District 204 schools with facilities in more need than the others. A portion of the funding would address extensive repairs and renovations to these schools so that every student has access to a quality learning environment.
e) There is growing demand for mental health services at IPSD 204’s schools, which is why there is a need for more counselors and other mental health professionals.
f) IPSD 204’s average class size is larger than its peer districts and 20% larger than the State average.
