Introduction

Thank you for participating in this Delphi process to review and critically assess competencies for a climate and health concentration at the MPH level. This is the third and final round of review with the goal of ultimately landing on 5 – 7 finalized competencies at the end of this process. The survey should take approximately 30 minutes.

On the following page you will find a list of potential competencies, which you can view here. This list evolved out of round 2, which initially required review of competencies identified under existing climate and health concentrations offered primarily among schools and programs of public health; to read about how we arrived at the original list, please reference our process document.

As you consider each competency, please assess and select whether you feel that competency should be retained as-is, “ACCEPT”, retained but with edits, “ACCEPT WITH EDITS”, or removed from the list, “REJECT”. For any you mark “ACCEPT WITH EDITS”, we request that you indicate what you would change by using the open text box to comment, even if you do not provide a full re-write. Please use the numbers indicated in brackets to reference specific competencies in all comments.

At the end of this survey, you will be provided an opportunity to add any competencies or areas of learning you feel are critical to a climate and health concentration at the MPH level that you believe were not covered by the current list.

Please plan to submit your responses no later than Friday, February 7, 2025.

Thank you again for your feedback and insight.
