Glasgow Airport (GGW) Master Planning Study Public Comment |
As part of their continuing commitment to serve and improve the aviation needs of Glasgow and North Central Montana, Valley County and the City of Glasgow are conducting an airport master plan for Glasgow Airport/Wokal Field (GGW). This master plan is a collaborative effort between the airport sponsor, GGW, the State of Montana, and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The plan is 100% funded by a grant from the FAA’s Airport Improvement Program (AIP). DOWL was the selected consultant to assist the airport with the development of this important effort. The master plan will include a narrative report along with an Airport Layout Plan (ALP).
This study has analyzed demand, forecast future needs, and developed a capital improvement plan to support airport development over the next 20 years. The final master plan and ALP documents are developed, so we invite the public to review the documents and provide their comments. We will solicit comments from the public and airport stakeholders until November 8th.
