Hudson Howells has been engaged by the Town of Gawler to prepare the Gawler Economic Development Strategy and Action Plan. Broad based consultation is being undertaken to ensure that the most relevant information is obtained from government, industry and community stakeholders and to obtain views on key issues relating to the Economic Development Strategy and future strategic goals.
The Town of Gawler covers an area of 41.1km2 and is located approximately 40 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD. Gawler is the major regional centre for the wider Barossa and Lower Mid North Regions and is the fastest growing Local Government Area in South Australia, growing at a rate of nearly 2% per annum, which is twice the State average.
The following Consultation Survey has been designed to guide consultation with various stakeholders. It is stressed that this is a guide only and that questions/issues of interest are likely to change between stakeholders and it is therefore not mandatory to answer all questions.
