Living on the Edge - Organisational Work |
NDTi is carrying out a project called ‘Living on the Edge.’ This project has come about as we have noticed from our cross-cutting work that many people struggle to get the support they need when they need it, (from social care, health, education, or housing). Reasons for this include people finding they are not eligible for formal support, some groups and communities being more disadvantaged than others e.g. refugees, homeless people, or others with multiple disadvantages, and/or life changes leading to someone needing additional help or finding themselves in crisis without knowing where to turn.
We are keen to understand what community groups and organisations are doing that is helping to connect people, or help prevent crisis, or reliance on services.
Over the past few months, we have been conducting interviews with organisations who have expressed an interest in the project. We are no longer conducting interviews but we are still keen to hear from you. If you would like to share some information about your organisation's work supporting people living on the edge, or if you would like to share the details of another organisation doing this work, please use this survey to do so.
