Help us identify the unanswered questions for research to address in the UK.

This survey covers Diverticular Disease, Diverticula, Diverticulitis, Diverticulosis & Complicated Diverticular Disease.

Why we need your help?

Considering how many people it affects in the UK, little research has been done into Diverticular Disease and its related conditions. There are many unknowns about how and why it develops and why there is increasing incidences in younger people and what are the best treatments. We aim to identify and prioritise unanswered questions and increase our understanding of this disease.

Please tell us what questions you would like to be answered by diverticular disease research.
ANY question is a good question. We need your input to identify priorities for research in the causes, diagnosis, treatment, management (including prevention), and support for people with diverticular disease and related conditions.

This project is a James Lind Alliance Priority Setting Partnership (PSP). It is funded by and run jointly by two charities - Bowel Research UK and Guts UK.
