Creating community conversation on common issues, civility

Franklin Tomorrow has a monthly lecture series called FrankTalks held at various locations around the city in an effort to engage and communicate with citizens on a more informal basis. In 2017, through quarterly discussions on civil discourse, we will focus on ways we as citizens can better communicate with our neighbors and those who work in our community.

Franklin Tomorrow will host FrankTalks, presented by Vanderbilt University's Office of Community, Neighborhood, and Government Relations, on Monday, Jan. 9, at the Williamson County Public Library, 1314 Columbia Ave., Franklin, starting at 9 a.m.m starting with a coffee social, followed by the program at 9:30 a.m. The library opens at 9 a.m.
Our topic will be civil discourse and community engagement and our speaker will be Randy Lowry, president of Lipscomb University.
