Firm Sponsorship—Application and Qualification Form

As our profession becomes more competitive and client needs become more sophisticated, providing a comprehensive range of services is key to growing and retaining a loyal client base. NACVA is partnering with carefully selected Firms who can offer to Referring Members a wide array of specialties that will benefit members and their firms by helping them expand services to their clients and build stronger client relationships that foster profitable growth for all parties involved. As an approved provider of services to NACVA members, your Firm is expected to provide a preferred rate for services offered—discounted no less than 15% from your standard rates.

The approval of this Firm Sponsorship Application and Qualification Form will be subject to review by an independent body established by NACVA Headquarters—the Firm Review Committee. Please note, NACVA reserves the right to remove a Firm Sponsor, without cause, at any time. All Firm Sponsors and users (Referring Members) of their services should understand that services provided by the Firm Sponsor are unique to the Firm and the nature of the services provided, and in no way, reflect the opinion of NACVA. Firm Sponsors and the users (Referring Members) of their services agree to hold harmless and indemnify NACVA from any and all claims with respect to any services provided herein. Firm services to NACVA’s Referring Members must be documented in an engagement agreement between the parties, and it must specifically provide that both parties will hold NACVA harmless from any and all lawsuits or claims that could arise from such relationship. Additionally, it must provide that NACVA will not be made a party to any lawsuits or claim, either directly or by reference therein.

The Firm Sponsorship program description published by NACVA requires Firms to:

Discount fees charged to NACVA members or their clients 15% from standard rates
Never solicit clients referred by a member to you under this program
Always strive to support and encourage a good relationship between the client and Referring Member
Commit to be timely and responsive to Referring Member’s needs and requests. This means always respond within 24 hours, preferably within four hours to every request/comment coming from Referring Member and/or his/her client. Firms must also meet all deadlines to which they have committed and if the deadline cannot be met, provide, at a minimum, 48 hours notice, upon which a new deadline should be established.

You will be contacted by someone from NACVA’s Firm Review Committee (FRC) to go over this application and confirm your commitment to the program. Only upon approval of the Committee will a Firm be accepted into this program. If a Firm is denied, no explanation will be provided and your application fee will be returned in full.
