What is the survey about?
This survey is to assess the costs and financial impacts of cancer to patients undergoing care in the public health system.

Why is the research being conducted?
The purpose of this study is to further understand the financial impact of cancer on people. By demonstrating these costs, the outputs of this research will be used by Cancer Council Australia in their policy and advocacy work to reduce the impact of the financial cost of cancer in Australia.

Who is running the project?
Running this project is a multidisciplinary team including members from the Cancer Council policy team (Drew Meehan, Kate Whittaker, Megan Varlow), medical oncologists (Dr Anupriya Agarwal, Dr Deme Karikios), a health economics researcher (Prof Louisa Collins) and a social worker (Fiona Wiseman).
