Thursday, January 30, 2025 | 11:00 am – 2:30 pm
Governor Calvert House, 58 State Circle, Annapolis

Thank you for your interest in attending MCF’s Annual Family Day in Annapolis! This event is FREE and IN PERSON.

Each participant 18 years of age or older MUST complete their own registration form.

School-aged children 12 years old or older are welcome to attend. We strongly encourage participants to consider whether a school-aged child under the age of 12 should attend. You will be required to provide the name and age of every person 17 years old and under who will accompany you to the event.

Getting to Annapolis
Bus: MCF will provide transportation from each region of the state for participants who wish to ride a bus rather than drive. Pick up locations and times are listed in the registration form.
Drive: Participants can drive their own cars to the event. Parking in Annapolis is very limited so we strongly recommend parking at the Navy Stadium and riding the shuttle that runs regularly from there to the State House. Note that there is a fee to park there and you will have to walk to Governor Calvert House from the shuttle drop off point in front of the State House.

Walking in Annapolis
There is considerable walking at this event. We will walk from Governor Calvert House to the House of Delegates and Senate office buildings and then between legislators’ offices. The streets of Annapolis are mostly cobblestone so consider this when determining whether you or a family member will be able to comfortably navigate from one place to another.

Weather Cancellation
If there is inclement weather and Anne Arundel County schools are closed, Family Day will be rescheduled.

Cancelling Your Reservation
Space is limited for this event. If your plans change, please email Cari Bergner at cbergner@mdcoalition.org to let her know. This will allow someone else to register in the event we have a waiting list.

Pre-Event Information Session
MCF will offer an optional virtual information session to provide more details about legislation before the 2025 General Assembly, what to expect the day of the event and ways to have productive conversations with your elected representatives. More information will be provided as we get closer to Family Day.
