Introduction
Thank you for your interest in housing and community development. Please complete this 15-minute anonymous survey from your perspective as an organization, individual or household living in Nebraska. Your responses to this survey will be kept anonymous and you can skip any questions you are not comfortable answering. Questions may involve programs, services, or funding not currently available. The purpose of this survey is to assess affordable housing and community development needs, and market conditions.
The results of this survey will inform decision-making for funding priorities in the next five-year planning cycle (2025-2029). The Nebraska Departments of Economic Development (DED) and Health and Human Services (DHHS) jointly request your participation in this important process. Nebraska DED and DHHS will use the results of this survey to inform funding priorities including, but not limited to, funding made available to the state via annual grants through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HUD makes available federal funds, which are described in the State of Nebraska’s Consolidated Plan, to support housing and community development initiatives and the availability of public services. Nebraska DED and DHHS implement programs to support local initiatives. The data collected through this survey will be used to inform program design.
