PCS and Home Care Provider Assessment of EVV System Utilization |
North Carolina Medicaid EVV System Utilization Survey
25% |
North Carolina is working on plans to meet a federal requirement of instituting an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system to use for Medicaid services such as Personal Care Services and Home Health. Congress passed a federal law requiring State Medicaid programs to implement an EVV system for home care and community-based services. The law is a component of the 21st Century Cures Act. The federal implementation requirement is January 2019.
In an effort to understand what electronic verification systems may already be implemented in North Carolina, we would like to ask you to complete a few quick survey questions. Your input will be valuable throughout this process and will help us address the needs and direction for our State. If you have already taken the survey, we thank you. There is no need to re-take it.

DHHS will host stakeholder engagement sessions in the coming months to allow providers and others an opportunity to have input in North Carolina’s EVV design and implementation.
