Thank you for your interest in joining our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee!

The DEI Committee will be involved in planning, implementing, and reflecting on meaningful projects that will work to identify and address the priorities, unmet needs, and desires of LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and other marginalized populations that attend the RCCs, or would in the future.

This Committee will work to foster a sense of belongingness for all people who use the SERLC services by planning inclusive activities within the SERLC that will serve to educate and inform the community around anti-racism, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ needs, racial equity, and other topics the Committee deems fit to pursue.

This Committee will have consistent and structured meetings monthly via Zoom and will be comprised of peer support staff and peer community members. We seek a wide representation of individuals across all age groups, racial, ethnic, and gender and sexual identities, especially LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC, as well as Young Adults, Older adults and Veterans.

We are just getting started with this committee and you will have a role in deciding what you would like that to look like within the SERLC. Please take a moment to tell us about yourself. We would love to hear why and how you would like to get involved. And any skills and ideas you may have in creating a safe and affirming space to build advocacy skills and make a difference in the experiences marginalized groups of people have in our healing SERLC spaces.There are no right or wrong answers and someone will contact you for next steps in joining the committee.
