50% of survey complete.
Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the Digital Clinical Leaders survey. Since the first CCIO survey was carried out in 2016 the CCIO movement has gathered real momentum with over 300 CCIOs now in post across the NHS. These roles are now widely recognised as the key local leaders in the digitalisation of healthcare.

One of the major themes of the Birmingham Declaration released in 2023 by the Digital Health Networks is that the clinical leadership provided by digital clinical leaders and their colleagues is key to the success of any digital health project.

By completing the 2024 survey, you can help the Digital Health Networks understand the current CCIO, and other digital clinical leadership roles, better and identify the gaps that need to be filled. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future direction of digital clinical leadership in the NHS.

We ask that one member of the Digital Clinical Leadership team completes this survey for your whole organisation.

We welcome your insights into this survey and hope to publish and discuss our interim findings at Summer Schools in 2024 as part of our Birmingham Declaration workstreams.

Thank you in advance.
