PURPOSE OF RESEARCH: This research aims to identify attitudes and beliefs college students have about themselves as students.

PROCEDURES OR METHODS TO BE USED: If you agree to participate, you will complete a brief survey estimated to take about 10 minutes to complete. Then, you will be redirected to another site where you can provide your name and class for extra credit in that class.

EXTRA CREDIT: 1 point of extra credit will be given in the following courses: Intro to Psychology (Don Evans, Taylor Vargo, Brian Smith), Statistical Methods (Sal Meyers), and Developmental Psychology (Amanda Martens).

EXTENT OF CONFIDENTIALITY: Your responses will be strictly anonymous and confidential and may be shared as a part of a verbal research presentation or written submission. In presentations and papers, data will be shared with averages, not individual responses.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION: I understand this project is research, and my participation is voluntary. I also understand that if I decide to participate in this study, I may withdraw my consent and stop participating without explanation, penalty, or loss of benefits or academic standing to which I may otherwise be entitled.
