Thank you for your interest in the Palmetto Environmental Education Certification (PEEC) program! This application for the 2024 - 2026 cohort and should take you approximately 30 minutes to complete. Please note that there is a personal statement at the end of the survey, "What do you hope to gain from participation in the PEEC program?". We recommend that you write it out separately and then copy/paste to the text box.
Completion of this survey as well as a letter of recommendation from a colleague who is familiar with your work is due no later than June 30, 2024. Letters of recommendation can be emailed to peecprogram@gmail.com.
Applications will be reviewed by members of the PEEC Advisory Committee. Please note that only currently employed formal and nonformal educators will be considered; you do not need to be teaching an environmental class/course to be eligible. All applicants will be notified by July 31, 2024 regarding acceptance to the cohort. For those not accepted, they will be placed on a waiting list and notified should a space become available.
