SAASTA Aboriginal STEM Academy 2022

Thank you for interest in joining the SAASTA Aboriginal STEM Academy. Please complete the attached questions, in full, in order to register your interest in joining the program in 2022.

You will be required to provide personal information, as well as the name and contact details for a teacher referee from your school whom we can contact to discuss your application.

All Aboriginal Students enrolled in Year 10 & 11 for the 2022 school year (Year 12's will be accepted via negotiation) are entitled to apply, but please note that this is an education first program and your engagement/participation at school is an essential criteria for your successful enrolment in the ASA.

SAASTA Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) which must be met in order to be eligible to join and maintain a place in an academy include:
- Attendance / Minimum 90% attendance to school (and the ASA)
- Academic Engagement / A minimum B grade average (open for discussion) during the 2020 school year
- Behaviour / Adhere to the school behaviour management policies (no suspensions/exclusions) and University of Adelaide regulations
- Respect / Peers, Staff, Equipment, Environment and the ASA Brand itself (uniform, sponsors, etc.)
- Participation / Show a high standard of team work and actively participate in all aspects of the ASA and your schooling

If you meet these standards and want to further your academic development and guide your university pathway; we look forward to hearing from you!
