Phillips Theological Seminary invites local and regional artists to submit their artworks for a solo visual art exhibition, which will be on display on our campus at 901 N. Mingo, Tulsa, OK from 11/12/24 to 12/20/24. The topic is Indigenous Persons Heritage Month, celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of the Indigenous peoples of North America. We are seeking artists who explore current themes and issues through their work, showcasing the creative expressions of contemporary Indigenous artists. The opening reception will coincide with a public event and lecture on 11/12/24. The exhibition can include up to 20 works of 2-dimensional art, depending on size, and up to 5 works of 3-dimensional art, depending on size. Once an artist is selected, the exact works will be selected for the exhibition in partnership with the Phillips Theological Seminary team.
