Phillips Theological Seminary invites local and regional artists to submit their artworks for a solo visual art exhibition, which will be on display on our campus at 901 N. Mingo, Tulsa, OK from 1/15/2025-4/4/2025. The topic is confronting global turmoil with local impact, guided by the profound wisdom (hokmah) and understanding (binah) of the Hebrew Bible. We hope to emphasize transformative approaches toward a fullness of wholeness (Shalom) in a rapidly changing world, with insightful and actionable responses rooted in ancient, yet ever-relevant, teachings. We welcome diverse and imaginative expressions of the theme. The opening reception will coincide with Remind & Renew, the Seminary’s annual 3-day event for ministers and alumni. The exhibition can include up to 20 works of 2-dimensional art, depending on size, and up to 5 works of 3-dimensional art, depending on size. Once an artist is selected, the exact works will be selected for the exhibition in partnership with the Phillips Theological Seminary team.
