Health Data Research: Exploring the Experiences of Early Career Researchers in Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement

Welcome to our survey about Early Career Researchers' (ECRs) experiences in Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in health data research.

This survey is open to ECRs interested in or engaged with PPIE, regardless of whether their work is directly funded or sponsored by HDR UK. ECRs include researchers at various stages of their career, including interns, master students, doctoral students, recent post-doctorates, and those transitioning to independent research roles, usually within six years of receiving their PhD.

The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. The anonymous responses collected through this survey will play a vital role in raising awareness, informing the development of tailored resources and training programmes, and supporting initiatives aimed at empowering ECRs in their collaborations with patients and the public. These responses may be included in future documentation, which will be available in various formats (e.g., reports, blogs, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations) for both internal and public dissemination purposes.
