The City of Cuyahoga Falls Community Development Department is conducting a survey of citizens, local organizations and agencies to identify community needs and priorities for the expenditure of federal funds from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The survey results will be one tool used to develop the City of Cuyahoga Falls' Five-Year Consolidated plan for the period 2024-2028.

The Consolidated Plan is a strategic document that prioritizes the expenditure of HUD funds.

The City of Cuyahoga Falls receives approximately $600,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Funds each year.

Community Development Block Grant funds are used to develop programs that create viable urban communities through provision of decent housing, a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, principally for low- and moderate-income persons.
